GenAI Statement

I. Core Principles

1. Human Responsibility Principle: AI tools are only auxiliary tools for academic research and manuscript writing and cannot replace independent academic thinking and core creative work of authors. All academic viewpoints, research designs, analysis results, conclusions, as well as the authenticity, originality and compliance of the entire manuscript are the full academic and legal responsibilities of the human authors. AI tools are not eligible for academic authorship and shall not be listed as authors or referenced as authors in any citations.

2. Originality and Compliance Principle: Any academic misconduct assisted by AI is forbidden, including data falsification, manuscript splicing, conclusion tampering and AI-based plagiarism. All AI-generated content must be manually verified, revised and optimized by authors before being incorporated into manuscripts.

3. Ethics Compliance Principle: AI usage in data processing, content generation and chart production shall abide by research integrity, data security and privacy protection rules. It is prohibited to apply AI to process confidential data, personal privacy data and unauthorized research data.

II. Permitted AI Application Scenarios

AI tools are only allowed to be used in non-core academic links to improve writing efficiency and standardization. Valid application scenarios include:

1. Auxiliary academic work such as literature retrieval, research progress sorting and professional terminology proofreading;

2. Grammatical error correction, language polishing and bilingual expression optimization for Chinese and English manuscripts;

3. Manuscript typesetting, punctuation standardization and reference format calibration;

4. Basic data sorting, auxiliary statistical calculation and preliminary chart drawing. The core logic, data authenticity and design ideas of all charts must be independently completed and manually verified by authors;

5. Auxiliary work including research idea inspiration and textual logic rearrangement.

All AI-generated content shall be fully reviewed and revised by authors to ensure accuracy and originality prior to submission.

III. Prohibited AI Behaviors

To ensure the academic value and originality of manuscripts, AI shall not replace human core academic creation. The following behaviors are strictly prohibited:

1. Generating core manuscript content via AI, including research topics, theoretical frameworks, core arguments, innovation points, experimental schemes, empirical analysis and research conclusions;

2. Generating or splicing all or most of the manuscript content through AI and submitting it after simple modification;

3. Falsifying or tampering with research data, experimental results, charts and citations by using AI tools;

4. Conducting hidden plagiarism and text adaptation via AI to avoid academic similarity detection;

5. Processing unapproved confidential industrial data, personal privacy data and ethically unreviewed research data with AI;

6. Listing AI tools as manuscript authors or taking AI-generated content as research basis and references;

7. Submitting manuscripts containing logically confusing or academically erroneous AI-generated content without manual revision.

IV. Review and Evaluation Mechanism

1. Preliminary Screening: The editorial department conducts AI detection and similarity inspection for all submissions to verify the proportion of AI-generated content, the originality of core content and the compliance of AI usage.

2. Peer Review Recheck: Reviewers will conduct special reviews on templated, stereotyped and AI-suspicious manuscripts to judge the rationality and compliance of AI application.

3. Result Determination: Manuscripts with unauthorized AI use, concealed AI application or AI-generated core academic content will be deemed unqualified.
